Engineered to perform full optical characterization on large area flat panel displays up to 50” (127 cm), the FPM-520-FO uses a gimbaled optical probe to perform measurements while the display remains fixed and in an upright position. This configuration allows viewing angle measurements without moving or rotating the large and heavy module thus avoiding mechanical strains and unexpected thermal gradients within the DUT.
