Why the VP3?

Our lowest cost video adapter, the VP3 digitizes analog progressive scan video to drive your flat panel display. The VP3 LCD controller board can digitize down to sub-VGA resolutions and beyond SXGA resolution. An adjustable line-locked pixel clock guarantees exact pixel sampling of your analog video. The compact size (3.75" x 4.00") allows the VP3 to be used in space constrained environments. The input supply to power the VP3 has a wide voltage tolerance thanks to the on-board switching regulator. The VPtune™ software allows you to fine-tune critical parameters of the VP module through a simple graphical user interface. The software installs on a Windows XP PC and lets you perform adjustments through the com port of the PC. Once the changes are made, they can be saved permanently to the video card. Parameters such as clock phase, horizontal and vertical position, input video level (gain) and black level are among some of the adjustments available.  We set up each VP3 board for your specific video source and target display. If your video source or panel changes, simply contact us with your new requirements & we will email a new BIOS file to you that can be loaded with VPtune™.
